What time of day should I plan to do my shoot?
If we are shooting outside in natural light, which we like to do whenever possible, we highly recommend planning your shoot to begin 90 minutes before sunset. This will allow us to have that beautiful late-in-the-day golden hour light that you see throughout our portfolio.
What should I wear?
First off, I always recommend bringing options. To get the best results, we will help you pick and choose from the options you bring based on each location we shoot at. This way we can make sure the outfits compliment the environment so that the focus is on you you. All you have to do is make sure you bring stuff that you love and feel amazing in in that we can pick and pull from! You can always text or email us photos before your shoot to get our feedback if you’re feeling overwhelmed. We are in this together!
Are there payment plans?
If you have your heart set on working with us but budget is an issue PLEASE reach out to Lauren via the contact sheet here on the website. We will do everything we can to work with you to come up with a custom payment plan that works for you because we believe everyone deserves beautiful, soul-filled photos.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I do with my photos?
You will receive all of your professionally edited high resolution images via a private online gallery. From there, you can download the high resolution photos and make prints or products on your own, or you can order these things through us directly through your gallery. We will be more than happy to help you figure that all out once you’ve chosen your favorites!
How long will it take to get my photos back?
For a wedding, our typical turn around time is 4-6 weeks and for all other shoots its 2-4 weeks. We provide sneak peeks within 24 hours of the shoot and the full gallery within that window of turnaround time. We always try to get them to you as quickly as possible so you may get a pleasant surprise and get them sooner than listed, but you will have them no later than the times above.
How far in advance should I book?
For portrait sessions we recommend 30 days ahead for booking and for weddings we recommend 1-2 years out. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if your event or need is sooner than that and we will do our best to make it work if our availability allows!
